I did not stay down.
I did not give up.
I dusted myself off;

Kept fighting on.

I refused to stop,
set my dial to go.

Refused to accept Fail.
Reached,
to persevere beyond Pass.

You saw my potential,
then watched it turn kinetic.
You did not see me for my lows,
but anticipated my rise.
The past behind.

Now, the time has come
to do, to become.
