Family Doc Diary: An Introduction

Hello, and welcome to my diary! My name is Phyllis, more recently known as Dr. Ying. I am a newly-minted family medicine resident and I love my job. Within these pages, I hope to share with you some of the highs and lows of residency, along with a snapshot of the breadth of patients and disease that I see as a family med doc. Enjoy!

Fun Facts:
— I started keeping an art journal during clinicals at med school and it helped me process what I was learning.
— I have been journaling since age 10, and my first journal had a cat on it.
— I am a resident in the Pacific Northwest, which is my favorite place.

Write on, Phyllis!
